About the role

Due to growth and demand, we now have an exciting new opportunity to expand the team and recruit an Account Manager – Central Europe (Home office).

Aim: To develop and accelerate further growth in Central Europe by a bigger focus on Savoury /Taste business

What will you be doing?

  • New Account Manager to be part of the Savoury, Snacks and PMSSD team which is taking care of nutritional food companies in the Central region.
  • Deliver & maximize the budgeted profitability of the defined channel
  • Accountable for the performance of a customer management team
  • Provide expert knowledge of customers to key cross functional stakeholder groups
  • In collaboration with the Sales Director, prioritizing, managing and allocating budgets and resources for the defined customers/channel
  • Accountable for driving excellence in customer business planning and delivery
  • Management of key activities, linking consumer and shopper plans to customer strategy
  • Ensure category & brand strategies/plans are reflected in customer plans.
  • Building senior level customer relationships to leverage Kerry’s market performance
  • Accountable for the development and direction of customer strategy and activation plans, detailing clear targets per brand/product/account delivered through agreed joint business plans
  • Responsible for co-creating relevant strategies that connect consumer and customer thinking into a single plan
  • Accountable for identification of the customer opportunity for all new innovation projects
  • Initial customer/channel feasibility for all innovation projects.
  • Accountable for ensuring an optimum plan is in place with all strategic customers for innovation (generation & delivery)

What do I need to be successful?

  • Previous experience in the role of the Account Manager
  • English and German are key languages for the role
  • Experience in working with Global Customers (Tier-A accounts)
  • Experience in the savoury market with taste background being ideal
  • Strong commercial acumen, confidence to make commercially sound decisions
  • Ability to build, lead, negotiate and conclude commercially sound customer plans.
  • Pro-actively identifies and unlocks opportunities
  • Numerate with a good understanding of business drivers.
  • Proven ability in analyzing and interpreting all available data
  • Solid understanding of commercial elements
  • Able to build a robust portfolio plan
  • Demonstrates good customer awareness
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrates a high level of drive
