Join Kerry as a High-Performing Sr. Account Manager!

Kerry is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Sr. Account Manager to spearhead pipeline and revenue growth for a global strategic account in North America. This role is pivotal in building robust client relationships across all organizational levels, promoting Kerry’s innovative product portfolio, and addressing client challenges with tailored Kerry solutions.

Key responsibilities

 

  • Build and manage pipeline and drive revenue growth across Kerry’s portfolio.
  • Develop and sustain client relationships and position Kerry as a strategic partner.
  • Monitor data to ensure business retention and address any margin erosion.
  • Deliver sustainable growth through a deep understanding of customer business practices.
  • Track a dynamic pipeline and sales projects using Salesforce.
  • Recommend resources and actions to resolve customer issues, including competitive threats and product complaints.
  • Manage and negotiate financial and commercial terms per Kerry’s policies.
  • Facilitate initiatives to support the account team with business support information.
  • Contribute to annual sales budget targets and strive to meet or exceed these goals.
  • Identify and develop new project opportunities with assigned accounts.
  • Share pertinent information with Kerry teams to aid in sound business decisions.
  • Lead key customer projects by ensuring effective communication between cross-functional teams.
  • Utilize Technical Business Development and Marketing to support sales efforts.
  • Travel approximately 50% for business meetings and customer visits, primarily within the U.S. and potentially some international travel.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Food Science, Chemistry, or related discipline.
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in Sales, Technical, or R&D roles within the ingredient, supplement, beverage, and/or nutrition/wellness industry.
  • Experience with CPG and/or large strategic partnerships (e.g., Nestle, General Mills, Unilever) in a sales capacity.
  • Proven experience in selling food ingredients to CPG companies.
  • Expertise in opportunity pipeline management aligned to business strategies and key financial metrics.
  • Proficiency in budgeting and strategic account planning, including creation of annual financial budgets and forecasts.
  • Ability to identify insights and needs to achieve value creation for Kerry and customers.
  • Skilled in negotiating and managing commercial pricing and contracts to protect business risk and ensure sustainable margins.
  • Demonstrated ability to formulate strategies and turn them into actionable plans and results.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills for cross-functional teamwork.
  • Experience with CRM systems (salesforce.com) and Microsoft Suite Tools.
  • Capability to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes.

Base Salary Range: $165,532.00-$187,051.00 USD
