Job Description:

Will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is maintained in a sanitary condition according to procedures while working in a Team atmosphere.

Mostly day shift with weekend possibility and overtime

Duties:

Evaluates and determines equipment to be prepared and cleaned.
Ensures that all equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized.
Ensures that the appropriate sanitizers are utilized and documented.
Prepares all required paperwork.

Requirements:

Must be able to read and speak English.
Energetic and self-motivated.
Able to work on wet areas.
Safety oriented.
Reliable and Responsible.
Able to adjust to changing workload and schedule.
Able to work with little or no supervision.
Willing to assist in other areas of the company on an as needed basis.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Attend all meetings and trainings as required. Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to your direct supervisor or management.
Allergens in the plants include soy and wheat.

Qualifications and skills

Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, standing for extended periods of time, grasping, feeling and repetitive motions.
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Must not have a fear of heights or confined spaces
Cleaning and Sanitizing
“Cleaning” includes but not limited to the plant and equipment, around property grounds, and general office housekeeping.
Janitorial cleaning also includes but not limited to bathrooms and common area cleaning.
Using sanitizer to clean all common areas (tables, door handles, light switches)
Gathering garbage and taking to dumpster
Vacuuming, sweeping, and/or mopping common areas using Sanitizer (Lysol)
