Kerry Group has operations in 140 countries worldwide and this role will provide significant learning opportunities as to how the Kerry business operates in many of these jurisdictions.

 

Responsible for:

  • Submission of all corporate tax returns for all EMEA jurisdictions
  • Co-ordinate the year end process from an EMEA Tax reporting perspective
  • Providing sign off on all tax notes in financial statements for EMEA jurisdictions
  • Research and resolve technical tax accounting issues for key stakeholders
  • All compliance related issues for EMEA
  • Deferred Taxation Accounting for all EMEA jurisdictions
  • EMEA Internal Management Reporting
  • Process improvement in respect of the EMEA KBS tax team
  • Assistance with any strike off / absorption for all EMEA legal entities
  • Assisting with M&A Activity and related restructuring, as required
  • Assistance with Group Management Reporting
  • Liaising closely with stakeholders (e.g. country controllers) for the purpose of the EMEA Tax compliance and reporting process
  • Assistance with preparation of Irish and UK VAT returns and other indirect taxes
  • Ensuring that relevant tax training is provided to staff within the EMEA Tax team.

 

Your Profile:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • An interest in developing International Tax knowledge
  • Corporate tax experience ideally gained in a Big 4 professional practice firm or from a large multinational environment
  • Excellent numerical and technical analysis skills
  • Good knowledge of systems and IT
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
  • A proactive attitude with an ability to work on his/her own initiative
  • Drive and determination
  • Ability to prioritise and work on tight deadlines to ensure that compliance requirements are met in a timely and accurate manner.

Desirable

  • AITI qualified
  • Line Management experience
  • European Tax knowledge.
