About the role


Work Location: BGC - Manila, Philippines

Reporting To: Commercial Director 

As Key Account Manager, Foodservice at Kerry Philippines, you will lead solution development efforts and market and consumer insights in a ‘menu first’ approach that best addresses customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company stakeholders across functions such as R&D, Marketing etc.

Key responsibilities


•Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
•Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, for account management that meets account performance objectives and customers’ expectations
•Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
•Proactively lead a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a 1 and 3-year period
•Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis

Accountabilities and Performance Measures:

•Achieve assigned sales targets in designated strategic accounts
•Meet assigned expectations for profitability
•End to end account management including forecast accuracy
•Achieve strategic customer objectives defined by company management
•Complete strategic customer account plans that meet company standards
•Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company expectations
•Must be able to work seamlessly with sub-regional teams across different functions and locations

Qualifications and skills


•Degree in Business or Food Tech/Science with at least 7-8 years’ experience in selling Food & Beverage Ingredients into Food Service Channels
•Key Account experience with leading Food Service / QSR brands and / or Convenience Stores is preferred
•Strategic market analysis capabilities and thorough knowledge of Sales & NPD process is required
•Must have strong communication skills in both English & Tagalog (oral and written)
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in working in a complex, matrix environment
•Must be a highly sales driven individual, with good track record in sales account management to apply and execute all duties in the role
•Ability to meet deadlines, self-managed and possess the ability to handle multiple tasks with speed and accuracy, working independently or as part of a team
