About the role


Work Location: Sydney, Australia 

Reporting To: Commercial Director 

You will be a passionate and enthusiastic Account Executive who will drive sustainable growth of the Retail Channel at Kerry Australia, with responsibility for developing and executing Channel and Customer Plans that leverage Kerry’s unique advantages for the benefit of new and existing customers. 

Key responsibilities


•Drive growth by continuously creating and selling customer value propositions for new and existing customers that focus on our competitive advantage while leveraging our broad product portfolio 
•Develop strong strategic relationships within the customers’ organisation including the senior management team, R&D, QA, Marketing and Procurement etc. 
•Partner cross-functionally within Kerry to optimize solutions offered to customers 
•Maintain high level of awareness of market trends and competitor activity and develops this knowledge into actionable insights 
•Proactively build robust pipeline of end use and project manage customer specific opportunities 
•Engage and inspire customers to want to do business with Kerry 

Qualifications and skills


•Proven track record of success in business development and account management with 4-6 years’ Sales experience gained within the Food & Beverage or Ingredients or Flavour industry 
•Prior experience specifically in working with major Retailers in Australia will be an advantage 
•Able to work cross-functionally with R&D, Operations and Finance in an efficient and orderly manner, with well-developed planning and analytical skills, and exceptional communication and presentation skills 
•Genuine passion for food, with proven capacity to relay this in all your customer and stakeholder engagements
•Inspires confidence in our customers. Positively and constructively engages customers to defend/win business for Kerry 
•Builds partnerships based on trust and integrity; collaborates to maximise value from cross-functional teamwork 
•Takes personal accountability for sustained business success and development
