About the role


Work Location:        Bella Vista, Sydney Australia 
Reporting To:          Inside and Distribution Sales Manager, Australia

In this role, you will be responsible for hunting new opportunities, forming trusted, long-lasting customer relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction through sales. This includes serving the needs of existing customers and closing sales deals to create new customers. You will be a professional individual able to deliver best-in-class customer engagement and enable the expansion of Kerry’s SME customer base.


Key responsibilities


•    Plan and lead your sales coverage and prospecting by being a product expert on our ingredient collections portfolio and communicating the Kerry value proposition
•    Generate new business opportunities through effective lead generation
•    Nurture relationships to build a strong consistent business pipeline and ensure continuous improvement of the customer experience.
•    Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing the deal, while working closely with the Country Lead & Marketing Team to identify opportunities.
•    Responsible for delivering positive results on organic revenue growth, new business growth and Business Margin % targets.
•    Collaborate with peers and mentors to benefit from and continue the development and sharing of best practices
•    Ability to analyse the opportunity landscape and construct a customer engagement strategy



Qualifications and skills


•    Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, or similar background
•    Minimum 2 years sales, account management or customer facing experience in a complex, multi-national organization preferably in the F&B, FMCG or Food Service industry.
•    Solid understanding of sales and account management practices and procedures.
•    Hands on experience with digital tools related to account management
•    Experienced in  direct interaction with customers and senior decision makers of a company.
•    Bring a good understanding of the Australia's food and beverage industry.
•    Comfortable managing both internal and external relationships that incudes Commercial/Sales team, General Management, Customers, and other stake holders of different cultures.
•    Bonus if you’re coming from a highly matrixed organization, exhibiting ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a wider team.
