Key responsibilities

 

  • Calculation and delivery of costing / pricing models across Kerry ANZ’s product portfolio with a keen understanding of pricing and margin management activities (raw material risk, conversion cost modelling, FX risk management, margin segmentation etc.)
  • Supporting Commercial Directors in driving business decisions by providing solid financial assessment on current trading environment. Contributing to account plan mapping and relevant market competitiveness
  • Retrieve and analyse information surrounding current raw material environment and providing pricing updates relevant to go-to market strategy and robust planning and options around mitigating increase risks and long-term margin maintenance
  • Leading and driving annual price increase programme
  • Liaising with procurement and operations finance to fully integrate raw material and inflationary costs into pricing model
  • Produce matrix based multi-view summary of comprehensive data-set. Utilising historic data by providing comprehensive view by Sales team and Channel and subsequent strategy for increase implementation
  • Preparation and review of various monthly reports / metrics together with the Finance Director with a strong emphasis on monthly Volume, Revenue & Margin reporting across a matrix managed organisation
  • Oversight of the weekly Forward Projection (“Flash”) report, providing regional management with a real-time assessment of current month business performance
  • Maintain Kerry’s Business Intelligence solution ensuring it operates with a high degree of data integrity
  • Central control point for customer segmentation queries, regional database access, end-user training and ad-hoc queries
  • Ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required including periodic Executive Meeting analytics and presentations, specifically in reference to key industry movements and trends both within the domestic and international environment
  • Presenting engaging metrics to  Commercial stakeholders to foster a greater understanding and insight of key business drivers and performance
  • Updating plan that can draw down data from multiple SAP and CRM systems; ultimately linking into predictive analysis for quarterly sales conferences
  • Support ad-hoc regional Commercial Finance initiatives and annual strategic plans to include Budgeting and Forecasting
Qualifications and skills

 

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or numerical discipline an advantage
  • 5 years professional experience in a previous commercial role within the FMCG industry. Familiarity with OLAP BI, Hyperion, SAP and SAP implementation processes all strongly desirable
  • Highly computer literate with strong emphasis on analytical skills. Candidates should be capable of analyzing and reporting on large volumes of data in a succinct and user friendly manner
  • Highly numerate, comfortable working with large volumes of dataAn analytical thinker capable of conveying technical information in a user-friendly manner
  • Strong IT skills essential. Familiarity with advanced MS Excel functionality and systems preferred (VBA, power-pivot, macros)
  • Self-starter who can manage fluctuating workloads and projects using a high degree of initiative
  • Strong team player with a clear focus on stakeholder engagement and solution delivery
  • Strong communicator, comfortable interacting with confidence across a wide range of stakeholders
  • Takes personal accountability and ownership of actions to completion
