In the Dairy Consumer Foods business division (where this role is based) we have a strong track record in innovation underpinned by technology and science across both well known consumer brands and Private Label products. Through our multi-geographical presence (UK, Ireland, and Western Europe) we have a deep consumer insight and relationships with our retail customers.  Our core categories include cheese snacks, (Strings and Things, Attack-a-Snak), natural cheese (block, slices and grated), processed cheese, as well as butter, dairy and plant based spreads through Dairygold, Low Low, Pure and Golden Cow.  We are also the largest supplier of Private Label dairy spreads, supplying all major retailers in Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe. 

About the role

Here at Kerry, we're seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to join the business on a full time, permanent basis. Our Executive Assistants are a key part of Kerry and this role will provide exceptional administrative support to our Managing Director of Dairy Consumer Foods Business Unit and additional senior leaders.

 

You will be able to react with the appropriate level of attention to situations that require urgent or fast turnaround and preferably, be able to demonstrate experience of working with a global team across multiple time zones and languages. 

 

Daily tasks include;  proactively managing diaries and travel arrangements as well as processing PO’s, expenses, and other administrative tasks.  You will also get involved in various projects and supporting the team on a variety of activities - from organising conferences, to supporting monthly All Hands communications, to helping coordinate on-site team events....this role has plenty of scope to grow and play to your strengths.  The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is proactive, uses their initiative to take ownership of workload and can complete tasks in a timely, yet diligent manner. 

This role will be based in Staines, NW Surrey, but within Kerry, we promote agile working arrangements and this position benefits from hybrid working opportunities. 

Key responsibilities

  • Provide PA and Administrative support to Managing Director of Dairy Consumer Foods Business Unit & support to the full leadership team of the business
  • Maintain full proactive diary management for key stakeholders.
  • Arrange all travel requirements for key stakeholders in accordance with Company travel policy and process expenses claims.
  • Craft and edit presentations, reports and correspondence with keen attention to detail
  • Process purchase orders and manager company credit card expenses
  • Coordinate on-site and off-site meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements 
  • Manage company credit card expenses monthly
  • Office Management duties 

Qualifications and skills

  • Proven Executive PA experience with a skill for multitasking
  • Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to 'join the dots'
  • High attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages, including PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Familiarity with SAP is desired 
  • Adept at organisational and administrative business support
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management and adaptability in fast paced environments
  • Approachable team player with a proactive, can-do attitude 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
