Where you'll work

Regions but may involve selected accounts anywhere in North America.  Your primary focus will start with poultry accounts in the Central U.S that includes Arkansas, Missouri, Texas, Mississippi and Alabama. The ideal candidate will work remotely, but prefer to have them living in the region or willing to move to the region.

There is some latitude related to where the candidate is located provided there is access to a major airport and within reasonable location to customer base. 



What you'll do

  • You will achieve sales goals by developing opportunities with assigned and prospective accounts.
  • You will establish Kerry as a long-term supplier at national accounts by developing, maintaining and expanding strong customer working relationships at multiple levels and functions.
  • You will uilize both direct contact and relevant trade organization events to build relationships.
  • You will participate in development of annual sales budget targets for assigned accounts and takes appropriate actions to achieve targets.
  • You will ensure that appropriate resources and actions are recommended to address customer-based issues.
  • You will pursue and support long-term divisional growth through the development of overall strategies for assigned accounts. Identify and recommend new technologies and new market opportunities related to customer base.
  • You will develop project opportunities and ensure communication flow between customer and relevant cross-functional areas.
  • You will document all pertinent information via timely call reports posted in SalesForce.


What you'll need to be successful

  • You will need a BSc or MS degree in Poultry Science.
  • You will need proven experience in technical sales to the Feed Industry.
  • You will need strong computer, written and verbal communication skills.
  • You will be required to travel 40-50% post COVID throughout the U.S.; and must  be willing to travel by car and plane.
