About the role

We’re now looking for a superstar Business Development Executive to join our field sales team, covering a territory across North London, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire, Norfolk & Peterborough.

Key responsibilites

What’s this job all about?

 

We are on the hunt for the best Business Development Executive out there! 

 

You’ll be working as part of our field sales team, developing the sales of the full range of our products and food-to-go solutions within your territory.  Working with both new customer and existing businesses, you’ll execute the sales and marketing strategy across a variety of sectors and customer groups.

 

You’ll need to be a real people person and able to hold your own with key customers and decision makers, ensuring that all new business leads are followed up in line with company protocol and procedures.  Working with our free-on-loan equipment, you’ll be responsible for supporting customers with installation of equipment, along with training, sampling and merchandising in store.   You’ll also attend trade shows from time to time, including organising the set up and break down of our equipment.

  

You’ll work closely with the wider sales team, as well as internal stakeholders, to achieve company objectives.  Analytical and comfortable with data, you’ll need to be able to work to KPIs and ensure that reports are completed accurately and on time.

Qualifications and skills

What does our ideal candidate look like?

 

  • You’ll know all about what an Business Development Executive or Field Sales role in the FMCG industry does. In fact, you’ll probably already be doing one!
  • You’ll be a super-star at building and developing relationships with customers in order to gain mutual success for the businesses
  • You’ll be proficient on things like Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • You’ll be a self-starter, comfortable in driving your own agenda and schedule and keeping very self-motivated
  • You’ll have a full driving license and will be comfortable with daily travel to your customers
  • You’ll be results driven, with strong negotiation skills and able to drive your relationships to bring commercial results
  • Plus you’ll love food and will be as excited as we are about working for the company who makes the best hotdogs in the world!
