About the role

We have an immediate opening in Kerry RDA for a Technical Taste Lead. Kerry Taste & Nutrition is a global division of Kerry Group and a world leader in food ingredients & flavours serving the food and beverage industry. We produce thousands of products, for the world's major food processors and food service companies, from more than 130 manufacturing sites across five continents.

With business alignment around Taste technology platforms and EUM teams, customers now have easier access to all our technologies, products and global capabilities. Dedicated account teams will capitalize on Kerry's unrivalled depth of technical expertise to support the unique needs of customers.


Key responsibilities

  • Work with Global Integrated Office to establish the raw material taste palette for Kerry Indonesia Innovation Centre
  • Create new and innovative flavour profiles for Indonesia and South Pacific Market
  • Work together with EUM teams to develop integrated beverage and sweet solutions
  • Build the relationship with local customers by working together on the project.
  • Lead Taste Process Improvement working with our Global Integrated Office.
  • Establish Taste raw material palette for Kerry Indonesia Innovation Centre and transfer products from other countries especially from AU.
  • Provide taste related technical training to our RD&A team in Indonesia
  • Ability to formulate fruit and sweet flavours for beverage and sweet EUMs that meet standard regulatory guidelines and restrictions in APAC.
  • Formulation of spray dried flavours, flavour emulsions, and flavour extracts
  • Ability to work with the flavour analytical group
  • Must have understanding of GC/MS and other industry standards for flavour analysis

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor/Master/PhD Degree in Food Technology, Chemistry or a related Applied Science
  • Minimum 15+ years of independent flavour creation working experience and a proven track record in same
  • Specialized in flavours for beverage applications
  • Experience supporting ANZ market is an added advantage as this role requests working closely with our ANZ team
