About the role


Work Location:     Singapore
Reporting To:        R&D Manager


In this role, you will be working with alongside a senior member of the team, to conduct basic research for improvement of existing products and development of new products, outlining procedures and specifications.  


Key responsibilities


•    Develop innovative solutions to help grow customer and Kerry’s market within cost parameters, manufacturing capability whilst ensuring all new products are legal within country of use
•    Managing projects/briefs as allocated ensuring deadlines are met. Coordinating launches of new products & running trials at Kerry manufacturing sites.
•    Provide our customers with the best available products through developing an understanding the market, manufacturing capabilities, ingredient restrictions etc
•    A customer facing role which requires product & market awareness to ensure that trends are identified. 
•    Supports RD&A with analyses, tests and insights.  
•    Working with senior team members supports feasibility studies, development and scale up/ production trials. 
•    Ensures that ingredient functionality will meet customer expectations.  
•    Documents all research notes in computer databases and records key learnings.


Qualifications and skills


•    Fresh graduates with Bachelors Degree in Food Technology, Food Science or similar field.
•    Graduates with one or two years related working experience may also apply.
•    Demonstrates an interest in Food Manufacture & Processing.
