About the role

⦁ This is a critical role primarily focusing on developing and fostering Kerry's Flavour business growth in China.
⦁ Exposure to Key Account Management, Business Development and Change Management.

Key responsibilities

  • Be responsible to establish sales development plan, channel development and maintain plan for flavor, and manage the sales budget.
  • Seek for potential customers and deep business opportunities to expand business growth on flavor products.
  • Establish, maintain and develop profitable business relationships with existing and potential accounts in support of business plan objectives through excellent understanding of customers and market’ requirements and development needs.
  • Collect and analysis the market insight and competitor intelligence, including defining the market orientation, potential customer, advantages and disadvantages of the product.
  • Establish and maintain good relationship with decision makers and key personnel at the strategic growth accounts such as Pepsi. Maintain direct contact with customers’ key personnel and work with customers and internal functions to resolve problems/ expedite matters.
  • Evaluate each opportunity, prioritize and determine the technical, commercial approach.
  • Responsible for the strategic development plan of the particular technology-flavor.
  • Support the flavor requirements (such as pricing, promotion, new product support, etc.) from whole Kerry China Sales Team, and act as a link between self-team and other Regions of Kerry Group.
  • Work together with R&D team to generate certain number of flavor push projects every year to support business growth.
  • Maintain up-to-date awareness of market activities, industry trends, technical development and recommend to supervisor modification/ changes of strategies/ practices, and support decision on future product/market development strategies, etc.
  • Other responsibilities assigned by supervisor

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • Minimum 5 years’ working experience in sales, 3+ years sales experience in beverage, dairy or bakery area
  • Possess strong marketing sense
  • Develops strategies for growth, acts with courage
  • Demonstrates the flexibility and adaptability to be successful in a changing environment
  • Moves from strategy through planning to action and sets clear priorities based on highest value
