About the role

The Process Quality Assurance Executive will support the goals and programs established by the management team to continually improve through analytical ability, problem solving and decision skills to plan and co-ordinate supply chain to achieve high customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for new equipment and line release cleaning validation and manage product testing plan during PQ validation process.
  • Involved in hygienic design assessment for equipment & infrastructure.
  • Support in IQ, OQ, and PQ commissioning activities.
  • Responsible for the review, development and implementation of Quality, food safety related activity / documentation when necessary.
  • Develop and execute quality, food safety training plan.
  • Conduct inspection for GMP / Food safety, raise the finding to PIC and follow up on the closure.
  • Perform any other duties from time to time as requested by superior

Qualifications and skills

  • Preferably holds a B.S. degree in Chemistry or Food Science from a recognized university.
  • A minimum of five years of work experience in quality assurance within the chemical or related process industry.
  • Must have knowledge of ISO 9001 (QMS), with additional exposure to HACCP and GMP being advantageous.
  • Capable of effectively expressing ideas in both individual and group settings. Should be able to clearly articulate and organize ideas in written documents, adjusting language and terminology to suit the audience. Must listen to and understand customer needs, anticipate them, and prioritize customer satisfaction.
  • Contributes to product and process improvement, as well as team growth.
  • Maintains a motivating work climate with a positive attitude.
  • Assists in planning and executing complex plant experiments.
  • Computer literate.
  • Capable of making effective formal presentations with minimal or no supervisory coaching.
  • Communicates in a timely and effective manner with minimal or no supervisory coaching.
