About the role
As a Distribution Control System Technician you would need to understand and fulfilled all the job scope given by the company. You will be responsible to ensure effectiveness and compliance to all management systems which have been practiced in the company. You should also have a good technical knowledge to support the goals and programs established by the management team and come with a positive attitude and good initiative to grow and develop with company to become a world class manufacturer.

- Reporting To : Assistant Production Manager
- Working Hours : Shift Hours (7am – 3pm / 3pm – 11pm / 11pm – 7am)
Key responsibilities
- Responsible to comply and fulfil the requirement of Company Policy.
- Will be reporting to Production Executive in charged in shift.
- In absence of Production Executive, DCS technician will be reporting to Production Supervisor in charged.
- To operate, monitor, and controlling Distribution Control System (DCS) based on the SOP/WI/Reference, and instruction from Production Executive in-charged.
- Responsible to ensure efficient operation of overall plants including raw material unloading, processing plant, and finishing plant without neglecting the importance of quality and safety.
- To record process condition into the checklist periodically.
- Assisting Production Executive to compile and record the overall plant activities inside the logbook and daily report.
- To inform Production Executive/Production Supervisor of any deviation, failures or, malfunctioning of the system or machineries without delay.
- Communicate with other Production Technicians for on-site preparation, adjustment, or periodic sampling.
- Communicate with QC Technician pertaining in-process testing result, and verification of the result according to specification.
- To communicate, coordinate, and record the receiving of raw material, production outputs, waste generation, and utilities consumption.
- Responsible to handle SAP system for initiating and completing the process order.
- Responsible to handle the product labels preparation.
- Responsible in practicing GMP, HSE and 5S culture in the workplace.
- Responsible to ensure compliance to all management systems such as but not limited to HACCP, ISO9001, FSSC22000, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Halal.
- Responsible to ensure the cleanliness of the workplace and assisting the superior for value added tasks.
- Ad-hoc tasks as and when required/assigned.
Qualifications and skills
- Atleast 2-3 years of experience as a DCS Technician.
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in handling Distribution Control System (DCS) system. (Yokogawa System would be an added advantage)
- Experience working in oleo-chemical and/ or Food industry
- SAP knowledge is a must
- Computer Skills: The DCS Technician should be able to demonstrate general knowledge of using PCs and common related software.
