About the role
We are recruiting a hands-on Quality Specialist to join our Quality team at the Taste & Nutrition Manufacturing facility in Sevilla. Our site specializes in producing plant protein and hydrolysates (infantile food). In this role, you will perform a mix of analysis and operative tasks, working both in the office/laboratory and the plant. This is a permanent, full-time, and on-site role.
What you’ll be doing?
Reporting to the Quality manager, your key responsibilities include:
1. In the area of Customer Management, the Quality Specialist manages customer information requests, including Tech Doc request, Intelex managing and communication
2. Develop a clear complaints management procedure as part of the management processes of customer complaints (Site) Complaints - upload to SAP and transfer to Intelex for RCA/CAPA.
3. Management of Non conformities process and CAPA close out and trending.
4. Responsible for the following as part of Compliance Assurance and Crisis Management processes food safety and quality management system, traceability system and traceability audits, Product recall management /Plan.
5. Audit management
- Auditor Competence
- Execute Audit Schedule
- Raise Non conformance and report, and verify corrective actions
6. Control documentation and set policies in Standards Implementation & Maintenance, including document control and work instructions
7. Be accountable for Annual review of the Quality System and Site control plan
8. The Quality Specialist is also consulted on several other overarching site process:
Inventory, packaging & coding, shelf-life evaluation, positive release, risk management/compliance assurance, crisis management planning, quality internal audits, documentation controls, regional QSHE KPI setting & execution.
Qualifications and skills
• Previous experience in Quality
• Good level of English both oral and written
• Knowledge of SAP is preferred. Proficiency in Intelex for internals
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Open-minded and imaginative for change
• Ability to work and communicate with all functions and levels within the business, conversing knowledgably to positively influence the change culture of the Plant and region.
