About the role


Work Location: Seoul, Korea 

Reporting To: Sales Director

Key responsibilities


Customer management:

•Responsible for achieving sales goals across all of Kerry’s technologies
•Establish and maintain good relationship with key customers
•Selling a variety of food ingredient products and technologies to Key accounts proactively
•Define and grow the business through effective customer management and account business plans for the responsible customers
•Communicates and consistently monitors progress of the execution of the key account strategies
•Handling the distributors and support their sales activities through the proactive presentations and product education

Sales Planning, Execution & Project management:

•Deliver the outcome through setting an obvious sales plan and goal for short term and long term
•Provide sales forecast to the relative departments internally
•Lead and drive the project process and utilize each function group to maximize effectiveness and efficiency
•Exploring and developing the potential customers and opportunities with Kerry SKU/Products
•Market analysis and understanding the competitors and their products and strategies
•Select the key customers and planning the sales promotion programs, strategies and executive projects

Qualifications and skills


•Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Science / Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nutrition, Regulatory or other related fields
•At least 7 years or more of relevant working experience in Food / Food Ingredients industry in sales roles
•Experienced in budgeting and strategic account planning, with strong negotiating and customer engagement skills
•Must be fluent in both English and Korean
•Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a matrix organisation structure within a complex market
•Positive attitude and personality; open-minded, precise and a hands-on, team player
•Self-motivated, with a ‘never give up’ attitude
