What This Role Is:


The Warehouse Team Lead is the first point of contact for Operators, as well as the acting shift Supervisor when Management is not available.


  • Directly leads the day-to-day operations of Warehouse team and effectively directs personnel as needed to ensure daily tasks/service requirements are met.
  • Tracks and ensures timely completion of daily inbound and outbound deliveries, receiving, and transfers. Coordinates with other departments as needed.
  • Assists team members with day-to-day problem solving/troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Oversees the correct movement, handling, and storage of raw materials for production. 
  • Works with the supervisor to identify training needs and implement plans for team members.
  • Performs relief duties and fills in for team members when needed.

What You'll Do:


Included, but not limited to, the following:


  1. Responsible for the leading, delegating and monitoring tasks for Shipping and Receiving personnel.
  2. Maintains accurate records, scans, digitizes, and files shipping and receiving documentation.
  3. Develops and maintain effective SOPs in collaboration with the Site Leadership Team
  4. Working with the Warehouse Supervisor, audits and tracks system transactions in SAP for accuracy and completeness.       
  5. Develops and maintains qualified personnel within the plant warehouse department
  6. Communicates and Enforces All Regulatory & Kerry standards within the plant
  7. Supports all operational efficiency initiatives
  8. Promotes a positive working environment, driving a Continuous Improvement culture
  9. Works in collaboration with the HR/HSE Manager to ensure a safe working environment
  10. Works in collaboration with the QATM to ensure a Food Safe working environment
  11. Communicates ANY Food Safety, Quality, and/or Workplace Safety issues/concerns to Management


  1. Maintains a Safe work environment for all personnel, through communicating and submitting work requests
  2. Initiates action when there are concerns for employee or equipment Safety and to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities.

What You'll Need For Success:


  • High School or Equivalent education
  • Computer literacy, use of SAP software helpful
  • Basic math and computer skills and ability to read, write & speak English
  • Must have good communication skills both verbal and written.
  • High attention to detail 
  • Prior Lift Truck Safety Certification
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically during the shift
  • Food manufacturing or warehousing experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that is subject to temperature variance
