What you'll do:

 

The Quality Assurance Technician conducts product testing, customer orders, and monitoring production quality. You'll have an opportunity to developed skills in monitoring quality systems and customer related duties. You'll disposition products; this includes approval of products, packaging material, labels, as well as the hold and release of inventory. The Quality technician is dedicated to the production of high quality, safe food in a manner that meets our customers exacting expectations, will enhance our reputation, keep our employees safe and protects the environment.  The Quality technician plays a role in ensuring all products meet Food Safety and Food Quality requirements. The Lab Technician makes quick decisions and uses good judgment. You’ll be making adjustments, involved with corrective actions, and dispositioning of goods. You'll be exposed to smell and a variety of flavor products, essential oils and raw materials.

 

Accuracy Is Important!

You'll be performing tests, analysis, and/or verification steps to check that raw materials, batched product, and finished product exceeds established quality standards. The Lab Technician helps us manufacture products the same every time!

 

Strong attention to detail! 

Follow procedures, policies, and instructions, and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions is essential for this role. The production lines are running non-stop in order to ship products to our customers and in order to ensure quality products are being released for delivery, working weekends or holidays may be required to get the job done.

What you'll need to be successful in this role:

 

High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution is required. College Diploma or University Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or relevant science is desired

Experience in food, pharmaceutical industry, or manufacturing environment is preferred

Do you have experience with GMP, HACCP, FSMA, FCC/USP/ASTA test methods, aseptic technique and food or pharmaceutical production?

Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft office such as Excel and Outlook
