The Quality Control Technician samples and performs a variety of tests and inspections to ensure that quality control points are met or exceeded. Testing samples of raw, in-process syrups, sauces and finished products to ensures that ingredients are in compliance with government regulations and customer specifications. This includes physical, chemical and/or microbial testing as appropriate. The Quality Assurance Technician reports to the Supervisor or Quality Manager and interacts with the Production team.

What You'll Need To Succeed:

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • College diploma or 2 years experience
  • Ability to read, understand and follow laboratory, sensory, and physical testing protocols and methods.
  • Ability to use and maintain lab equipment
  • Ability to use computer hardware and software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • Ability to handle high speed jobs and work under time pressures.
  • Ability to communicate and enforce GMPs and Food Safety/Quality processes.
  • Ability to work overtime and on weekends.
