About the role

With over 45 plant across North America & Canada, the plant in Seattle, is a part of our Kerry Liquid Beverage division and has roughly 80 employees.

At our Seattle location we manufactures a wide variety of syrups and sweet sauces

Key responsibilities

The Production Supervisor is fundamental to our team. You’ll oversee the production team, with up to 30 direct reports and develop a quality team that provides flavor enhancement products for our customers. This shift typically has limited management on site, and requires the ideal candidate to have a strong leadership background, and the ability to take initiative and make decisions in a timely manner. The Production Supervisor role directs and coordinates all the activities necessary for production of these products. The schedule for this role is 2nd Shift, 4:00  pm – 12 am+  with some flexibility depending on customer needed and for successful shift changeover.

This role also requires attention to detail while completing daily tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and conducting regular visual line checks to insure proper dating, labeling, and packaging.

Qualifications and skills

  • A four year degree in Engineering, Science or Business, or minimum of Associated Degree and 2+ years Production Supervision experience will be considered
  • Experience with spray dry equipment or powder processing is highly preferred in order to be successful in this role
  • Proven ability to develop and retain top talent, drive process improvement while adhering to budget in a manufacturing/production facility, with knowledge of GMPs.
  • Proven ability to lead with the following key strengths: Critical Thinking, Continuous Cost Focus, Technical Expertise, Influence and Delivery of Sustainable Results
