What You'll Do:
Production Associates in the Batcher position stage and blend ingredients, package products, and assist with COP of equipment during scheduled cleaning periods. You'll follow established procedures in order to produce QC approved products. Demonstrating leadership in the area of safety, you'll be responsible for observing and enforcing safety rules and practices, encouraging safe work behaviors, and promptly correcting conditions and unsafe behavior, which may lead to accidents. Each team member continually endorses the Quality & Food Safety Policies, assures conformance to all requirements of the Quality & Food Safety Management Systems, & takes action to properly report failures of these systems to site management. Working from 3:00PM to 1:30AM, Monday-Thursday, Overtime is Available on Fridays Based on Production Goals.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- High School graduate or equivalent required, eighteen (18) years or older
- Basic math skills, ability to calculate percentages accurately.
- 6 mo. Manufacturing experience, preferably in a chemical or food processing facility.
- 3 mo. Prior electric pallet jack operation and safety certification preferred.
- Use of MS products required, SAP software preferred.
- Ability to maintain a good attendance record and availability for overtime.
- Must be self-motivated and conscientious.
- Ability to work well with a team or other coworkers.
- Mechanical aptitude and analytical skills to solve mechanical problems.
- Ability to complete certification requirements
