Our Seattle, Washington location is part of our Liquid Beverage division and creates sweet syrups and sauce variations for Kerry customers and brands. What You'll Do:

 

The Production Associate - Packaging ensures that filling equipment, tools, supplies, and work areas are maintained according to applicable GMP. The safe set-up, operation and sanitation of high-speed filling and packaging equipment including but not limited to fillers, cappers, labelers, case erecter, case packer, case and/or bottle coders, palletizers and pallet wrapper. Duties include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Ensuring optimum quality of the assembled and sealed package.
  • Responsible for following GMP’s and food safety regulations.
  • Notify other team members of a malfunction anytime equipment on the line goes down for more than a few seconds by surging on or off until assistance from other coworkers is available.
  • Label rework and complete the rework in a timely manner, including taking it back to the processing area to be reprocessed.
  • Minimize product waste by making operator adjustments to eliminate damage to the product.
  • Keep work area free from possible safety hazards, taking immediate action to eliminate hazards when they are identified or reporting them to the Production Supervisor.
  • Address and correct all mechanical issues that may prevent the line from running quality product at top performance.
  • Follow and abide by all safety regulations, GMP’s and IA policies and procedures as determined by management.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

 

  • High School graduate or equivalent required, basic math skills.
  • 6 mo. Manufacturing experience, preferably in a food or chemical processing facility.
  • Prior EPJ operation and safety training.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions, embrace and follow safe work habits.
  • Use of MS products required, SAP software preferred.
  • Attend work as scheduled and have availability to work overtime if needed.

The typical hiring range for this role is $23.00 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
