What You'll Do:

 

Key Responsibilities:

Included, but not limited to, any of the following (other duties may be assigned as needed).

 

•Complete all required training within onboarding plan deadlines
•Embrace concepts of and actively practice all Kerry Policies and Procedures
•Actively participate and/or support Kerry improvement initiatives, as needed/required
•Participate in development/review of Procedures, documentation, and implementation, as needed/required
•Support New employee Learning & Development, and Cross-training initiatives, as needed/required

•Be a leader for other employees working in the Work Center

 

Production-Operations

  1. Must attend and participate in daily pre-shift huddles on time
  2. Receive and hand-off shift with peers, ensuring all information is communicated properly
  3. Retrieve all necessary set up/start up information/specifications/guidelines
  4. Retrieve all necessary materials to perform tasks referring to Manufacturing Work Order
  5. Follow FIFO for all materials needed according to the Manufacturing Work Order
  6. Verify Item/Material and Lot numbers to be used according to the Manufacturing Work Order
  7. Complete all equipment changeover/set-up processes minimizing equipment downtime and meeting or exceeding set-up standard requirements
  8. Safely, efficiently, and effectively operate assigned production equipment
  9. Troubleshoot, solve and/or escalate issues that may arise during the shift
  10. Pre-plan next task before completion of current task
  11. Support all operational efficiency initiatives
  12. Promote a Positive working environment, driving a Continuous Improvement Culture
  13. Responsible for ensuring specification deviation are reported appropriately and in a timely manner
  14. Responsible for compliance with initiatives for minimizing losses (downtime, waste, costs, etc.)
  15. Create/Submit Work requests for equipment/processes that can be improved or need attention, in a timely manner
  16. In the event of absence of another employee with the same skill level, will assume the duties and responsibilities
  17. Communicate ANY Food Safety, Quality, and/or Workplace Safety issues/concerns to Management
  18. Able to read and write basic English to understand Manufacturing Work Orders
  19. Able to lift to 50 lbs. when necessary

 

What You'll Need:

 

Quality, Food Safety and Sanitation

  1. Maintain a high level of Quality, Food Safety, Housekeeping and Sanitation
  2. Maintain a high level of GMPs and report anyone failing to meet minimum expectations
  3. Understand and Adhere to all GMPs and Hygienic Zoning requirements throughout the facility and those specific to assigned tasks and job duties
  4. Ensure all required quality data is properly recorded and legibly documented
  5. Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and Quality of the product, processes, or quality systems
  6. Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected
  7. Understand and Adhere to all SSOP’s pertaining to assigned equipment

 

Health, Safety and Environment

  1. Maintain a Safe work environment for all personnel, through communicating and submitting work requests
  2. Ability to initiate action when there are concerns for employee or equipment Safety
  3. Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to employee or equipment Safety
  4. Embrace concepts of and actively practice the Eye for Safety fundamentals to aid Kerry efforts to achieve a zero-accident rate
  5. Understand and Adhere to all PPE requirements throughout the facility and those specific to assigned tasks and job duties
  6. Ensure all PPE is clean and in good repair
  7. Follow all LOTO Procedures when setting up, troubleshooting, cleaning equipment and /or whenever else necessary or outlined for job specific tasks
  8. Participate in initiatives to create an Environmentally friendly workplace
  9. Able to lift to 50 lbs. when necessary
