Where You'll Work

Our Seattle, WA location is part of our Liquid Beverage division and creates syrups and sweet sauce variations for Kerry customers and brands. 

What You'll Do

As a maintenance supervisor, you’ll supervisor direct reports and work with other functions in the manufacturing plant as well as outside vendors / contractors. We’re looking for someone who is knowledgeable in electrical and mechanical maintenance and problem solving in a food, beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. Your leadership skills, time management, ability to adapt to change, problem solve, and communication are critical to be successful in this role.    

On a high level, you'll:

  • Put safety 1st 
  • Work under pressure at times and be able to make decisions, and guide your team
  • Mentor and train mechanics in electro-mechanical skills for utilities and operations, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems such as: pumps, air compressors, glycol chillers, air dryers, boilers and wastewater treatments
  • Be results driven and mentor and train your team to understand predictive maintenance, mean-time failures, root cause analysis and corrective actions. Experience in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC systems

What You'll Need

  • College degree in applicable field of study is preferred, but we will consider relevant work experience and a high school diploma/GED
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment – food, beverage, or pharmaceutical industries preferred
  • Technical skills and knowledge with utilities and operations, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems such as: pumps, air compressors, glycol chillers, Air dryers, boilers and wastewater treatments
  • Understands PM and predictive maintenance (total productive maintenance experience preferred), mean time between failures, root causes analysis , and corrective actions 
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with computers and computer applications such as SAP, MAPICS, Excel, LIMS, etc
