Key responsibilities
- Lead and Inspire: Provide strategic leadership to the plant maintenance team, overseeing the repair, maintenance, and installation of machinery, tools, and equipment to ensure seamless manufacturing operations.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to support continuous production and implement proactive preventive maintenance strategies that minimize downtime.
- Maximize Equipment Performance: Champion root cause analysis and reliability initiatives to eliminate failures and extend equipment life, in collaboration with operations teams.
- Shape the Vision: Lead the development and execution of plant-specific goals aligned with the broader corporate mission, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Empower Talent: Promote employee engagement and professional growth through targeted training and development, driving performance in safety, quality, and productivity.
- Manage Strategic Projects: Oversee maintenance and engineering initiatives, including capital improvements and cost-saving modifications, ensuring timely and budget-conscious execution.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred or relevant work experience.
- 7+ years of experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environment, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
- Demonstrated success in leading and executing engineering or maintenance projects, including capital improvements.
- Hands-on experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and/or Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
- Strong background in predictive and preventive maintenance programs that drive equipment reliability and uptime.
- Proven ability in budget planning and management, with a focus on cost-effective solutions.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Compensation Data
The typical hiring range for this role is $107,757 to $181,563 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
