With over 45 plants across North America, the Savannah, GA, USA plant is a part of our Beverage division that makes soups, broths, mixes, and extracted ingredients. We often work with chicken and vegetables!  We are hiring career minded people to help meet growing demands for quality food products and ingredients.  You'll have the opportunity to work in a fast paced and fun environment!

 

What You'll Do:

 

The Industrial Sanitation position is responsible for general janitorial tasks that are part of the Sanitation Program. This is general cleaning of common areas such as lunch rooms, rest rooms, offices and trash pick up and removal. Additional duties would involve supporting the production team with industrial sanitation needs. This position reports to the Sanitation Supervisor. In the absence of the Industrial Sanitation employee, another Industrial Sanitation employee will serve as backup.  We offer multiple career paths,  training in GMP, HACCP, food safety and food production related subjects.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

 

  • High School or Equivalent education, basic math and computer skills
  • Must have good communication skills both verbal and written.
  • High attention to detail 
  • Prior Safety training and use of floor buffers helpful
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. during the shift
  • Food manufacturing experience preferred, mixing or blending ideal
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that is subject to temperature variance.
