About the role

We have a great opportunity in Latam for the role of Strategy & Planning Manager. The successful candidate will support the President and Senior leadership team (Sub-Regional & EUM GM´s, Foundational Technologies, Marketing) in the development of Business Strategy for Latam

Reporting to the CEO, the Strategy & Planning Manager will support strategic planning across the business, ensuring the development of integrated plans at both a category and country level, with clear KPIs aligned to business targets. Additionally, the Strategy & Planning Manager is responsible for delivering regionally specific strategic projects.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and support delivery of a programme of action to update strategic plans for Kerry Latam, ensuring
    • Key stakeholders are clearly identified, a clear project plan implemented and progress is tracked and measured
    • Support crossfunctional teams in the development of their individual business unit strategies
    • Outline the capabilities required and roadmap (resources & people) to deliver growth
  • Facilitate alignment to enable the development and communication of an overall Latam business strategy and 5 Year Plan
  • Work with our Global teams in our strategy development approach – key tools, governance approach and process elements; ensure the localization of any approach is fit for purpose
  • Support the tracking and management of progress and effectiveness of strategy and execution
  • Develop strategy and planning capability
  • Develop and deliver region wide strategic projects as determined necessary
  • Contribute to the global evolution of the use of data and analytics to make fact base choices

Qualifications and skills
  • 3+ years’ experience in a related role, ideally with PMO experience on strategic projects
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.  Master’s degree in a related discipline an advantage
  • Track record of solid project leadership, mobilising teams and driving ownership & execution
  • Use project management tools to track and manage projects to completion and drive ownership
  • Ability to build relatonships with and manage multiple senior stakeholders
  • Ability to deal with and address ambiguity to create clarity
  • Effective influencing and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent facilitation skills and use of processes and tools to support teams to progress on strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and act tactically – work closely with key stakeholders
  • The ability to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes
  • Strong Conceptual / analytical / quantitative skill-set
  • Proven resource optimization, team management and development skills
  • Comprehensive commercial and business acumen
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and ability to present bigger picture strategy to different levels
  • Business related travel required
