Site Finance Business Partner

About the role

The Site Finance Business Partner is accountable for turning information into performance insight / foresight to ensure value creation across the relevant Site and supporting the drive in business performance help position Kerry as the customer’s trusted partner. This role will play a key part in providing decision making support and challenge of key initiatives across the Site to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are achieved in line with Integrated Operations strategy.

 

Key responsibilities

• Own the delivery of the Close out and Reporting of the Sites monthly performance, ensuring this is circulated at the right time to the relevant stakeholders.

• Continually review site performance (Actuals), raising risks / issues with the Site Management team / Cluster Controller.

• Ensure close control of inventories transactions, cycle counts execution, production orders accuracy, and overall SAP good practices.

• Provide leadership and challenge across Site in determining strategic direction & inform on long term growth priorities.

• Work closely with Site Management & relevant personnel to continually review performance management.

• Challenge and inform the decision-making process across key financial decisions within the Site, influencing by building credible and trusting relationships.

• Partner and collaborate closely with the relevant GBS teams to ensure finance best practices are applied across all applicable processes, and identify opportunities for end-to-end process improvement and simplification.

• Work closely with Site Managers to deliver financial support and insights for the relevant Site.

• For their respective Site, leverage the use of FP&A and KBS support to execute on financial transaction activities including but limited to the standardisation of reporting and performance measurement.

• Acting as the accountable signature for Site Budget and Forecast, working with the relevant stakeholders to ensure these are completed at the right time.

• Work closely with the relevant Site Managers to drive plant efficiencies, reporting on progress to date to ensure targets and deadlines are met.

• Collaborate with Senior stakeholders on investment opportunities, including informing on relevant decisions and supporting the development of the business case.

• Oversight and delivery of Site-specific strategic projects.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor´s in finance management / Accountant proficient
  • Green belt certified (desirable)
  • English intermediate level
  • Leadership capabilities 
  • Advanced numerical and analytical skills
  • Financial Maths (NPV, IRR, ROI...)
  • Marginal analysis
  • Financial Planning: Zero based budgeting, Forecasting, Scenario planning...
  • Auditing practice / Internal controls
  • Excel mastery & SAP proficiency
  • Focus on processes improvement.
  • Food production process clear understanding
