About the role

The role of the Internal Communications regional manager is to integrate and lead all internal communications for the Latin America region. The Internal Communications manager will advise & coach leaders on effective communication, supporting leaders to plan & deliver across multiple channels. They will drive communications to deliver business outcomes and partner with the business on change programs.

The role requires a ‘hands-on” internal/corporate communications professional with excellent writing and story-telling capabilities, and a strong propensity for practical, efficient swift execution.

Key responsibilities

Develop and drive an internal comms calendar that supports the Latam business strategy

Partner the Business Executive team to connect the dots in communicating with our People to deliver the vision and execution of our strategies 

Set a consistent tone of voice with full alignment to our Purpose and Vision which enhances our Kerry reputation 

Coach senior managers and stakeholders to deliver impactful messages that connect us through storytelling and simplification. Advise & support the delivery of effective communication across multiple channels (workplace by facebook)  

Enable transformation, sustainability and change programs in the Global Function / Business by providing communication support

Be accountable for planning and delivering based on an annual communication schedule/plan for Latam 

Measure communication effectiveness by bringing external & internal insights to the comms plan

Regional point of contact in leveraging best practice around design & engagement with site comms champions 

Regional point of contact for the external communications/public relations team

Qualifications and skills

Superior writing and story-telling expertise

A proven track record in Internal Communications including channel management, outcome focused communication planning, change & leadership communications and communication coaching with leaders & communication champions

Experience of using multiple communication channels including technology focused – employee apps/intranet is an advantage

Experience of communicating for multiple audiences with diverse needs from front line operatives (manufacturing based) to remote/peripatetic sales to office/home based employees

Strong project management and relationship cultivation skills

Thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced and execution-centric environment

Relationship builder and skilled collaborator able to work with many people at once and be open to new ideas and suggestions

Ability to prioritise, strategically plan and practically execute with speed and effectiveness.

LANGUAGE: Fluent in spoken and written Portuguese and Spanish, with strong spoken and written English
