About the role

This position aims to respond to clients regarding different needs, such as the development of duplications and new creations. Having responsibility for the project during all stages of development, which are from the creation of ideas, planning, development, validation and manufacturing, until the client receives it in its production plant and validates it as accepted. This involves sensory analysis as well as physicochemical analysis.
Provide support to different internal areas such as sales, quality and production, among others, developing good business relationships.

Respond in accordance with the business plan to focus effort and resources in accordance with the company's objectives.

Key responsibilities

Development of new products based on customer needs and/or market trends.

Knowledge of market trends, constraints and customer requirements and processes
Develop cost-competitive solutions that satisfy the client and business requirements, established in the projects

Maintain records, execute activities and generate the documents required by our internal systems, for adequate project monitoring.

Perform laboratory tests, weigh, prepare and send samples, request FQ, microbiological and sensory analysis, pilot plant tests to optimize current products.

Coordinate new product launches and carry out tests in production centers

Replace raw materials, perform laboratory tests, prepare applications and evaluate for validation of these changes

Support for presentations with clients

Ability to drive process improvements, high-quality execution, and maintain regulatory compliance and stay within cost parameters.

Start working independently on projects and managing clients.

Manage projects/reports as assigned, ensuring deadlines are met.

Qualifications and skills

Food engineering, Food chemistry or related,

English language proficiency,

2 to 5 years of experience within the food industry

Lead assigned projects, ensuring market requirements and

Interaction and resolution of problems with customers about products

Foster relationships with peers, and interaction with other departments

Manage projects ensuring deadlines are met

Experience in analytical and sensory techniques

Problem resolution

Ability to drive process improvements,

Analysis capacity

Develop and/or have knowledge of market trends for snacks
