About the role
The Regional Manager of Security role is responsible for develop and lead integral strategies related to Security in order to define and ensure the implementation of the most appropriate systems in line with Global and Regional Security of Kerry requirements. Ensure the development of new systems and integration of existing systems with designs, maintenance, updates, enhancements, remodeling focused to reduce the impact and risks. Provide advice to the business and functional leaders in his/her region. As a trusted security business partner, they support regional business leaders in security matters in conjunction with the Group General Counsel and Global Legal COEs, to proactively protect Kerry, Kerry’s reputation and manage potential risks and liabilities.
Key responsibilities
Design the Corporate Security and Protection Program based on Kerry fundaments in order to provide support to the operations LAtAm.
• Accomplish the Personal On-Board program in order to protect People through specific strategies with focus in Self-prevention, public risk management, Security Culture that involve all organization
• Provide support, training and guidelines in terms to identify the best way to solve Crisis Situations and Special Situations that the business could has during the operation through Protocols, Crisis Committee and Crisis Exercises.
• Send the reports requested by the operation according to the schedule, priority and impact
• Design and implement the Security program for travelers, expats and business travel in order to avoids incidents and reduce the impact; using early warnings, opening a communication channel and updating the information according to the real country risk working with Corporate security to implement the right security countermeasures
• Implement the Security Policies to provide support during the Professional Events to identify the risk and mitigate the impact using security countermeasures and recommendations, performing the inspections, identifying the support points and delivering the security report with the host in order to implement the security recommendations to avoid any kind of incident
• Perform the Risk Analysis in order to determine the real risk level of Kerry facilities in order to implement security countermeasures associated to Detection, Retard, Deter, Deny, Response and Recovery, looking for the best option with the optimal cost
• Create with IT Security the Information Security program in order to reduce the incidents associate to PC, copies, documents administration, Clean Desk, classification and right destruction way
Main Challenges
• 1.- Management an effective response channel in order to provide support when people, process, operations or product could be affected by incidents, looking safe it and reduce the loss and impact.
• 2.- To be a strategic allied into the company in order to participate in all decision took by the staff. (To become a Security Business Partner for Local, Regional and Regional Security)
• 3.- Spread a Security Culture in the organization through an active and permanent participation of the employees, suppliers and contractors
Qualifications and skills
• Security Administration bachelor degree or related
• At least 7 years of experience in private security sector as corporate security manager with a scope in People, Facilities, Crisis management, Special Situation management, Supply chain security, Distribution based on Risk Assessments and Strategic Security.
