About the role

As a Maintenance Leader, your responsibilities include supervising and managing preventive and corrective maintenance, analyzing equipment obsolescence for replacement planning, and overseeing building maintenance for plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee equipment execution and management in the plant.
• Identify process improvements for productivity growth.
• Analyze SAP maintenance trends for cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and update work procedures to comply with international standards (FSCC 22000, ISO 14000:2005, ISO45000, COFEPRIS, SENASICA, NOM STPS).
• Supervise contractor work for plant improvements, ensuring quality and safety compliance.
• Coach leadership teams on analyzing significant failures affecting OEE indicators and develop action plans.
• Create new KPIs aligned with department goals.

 

Qualifications and skills

• Engineering Expertise: Proficient in chemical, electromechanical, or electronic engineering.
• Personnel Management: Over 10 years of experience in managing personnel.
• Process Knowledge: Skilled in spray dryers, mixers, raw material transformation to finished products, and automatic packaging.
• Industrial Services: Familiar with industrial services and maintenance software (SAP, POWER BI, etc.).
