About the role

Key responsibilities

•  Accountable for key Customer

•  Specialist in Regulatory – high expertise e.g. allergens , GMO, labels, Flavours, etc.

•   Participate on strategy development

•  First escalation

•  First point of contact for GBS

•  Central point of contact for customer requests

•  NPD & Innovation – claims, novel ingredients, commercialization

•  Customer Engagement – customized & personalized services

•  Policies and procedures

•  NPI commercialization and creation of Technical Documents

•  Partner with GBS and regional teams where required

•  Partner with SA for personalized customer requests

Qualifications and skills

•  Degree or local equivalence of same in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Food Science, Food Eng, Chemical Eng, Nutritionist or related discipline

•  Functional Competencies: Full understanding of relevant regulations Regionally. Key technical contact for identified customers, with responsibility to foster good relationships. Understanding Food Industry structure and regulatory implications. Strategic Mindset

•  Technical Competencies: Capability to train and support junior members of the department/ RDA function as appropriate Ability to identify opportunities for the regulatory function to enable business growth

•  English - Min Intermediate-advanced.

+3 years of experience in Food industry, Regulatory, QA, RD&A or associated regulatory agency.
