About the role

Where you'll work:

Our Rothschild, WI location is part of our Applied Health and Nutrition division and is responsible for our biopharmaceutical needs for Kerry customers and brands. This site is one of two that works with specialized lactose protein within the Kerry organization! People may not realize we're more than just great taste when it comes to food and beverage products - we truly are committed to nutrition and sciences as well!

 

Pay Rate/Hourly Rate/shift differential: $24.48/hr

 

Shift/Working Hours:  2-2-3,  5:45am - 6:00pm

 

The wage for this role is $24.48 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications. Key responsibilities

• Responsible for packaging and palletizing the products produced on the Crystalline Dryer.
• Performs scale checks, take, and submits samples to the lab per specified frequencies.
• Assist Operators and other packagers, preparing bags, room cleaning, dryer cleaning, bag staging and warehousing production.
• Responsible for the efficient operation and monitoring of the Crystalline dryer bagging system as assigned. Takes appropriate action whenever the raw material or finished product does not meet Standards highlighted in Sop`s, EPL, and processing logs
• Rotates packaging product on the Crystalline dryer operations with operator and refinery assistant. As designated by our current job rotation procedure.
• Performs assigned data entry, record keeping and process monitoring functions according to established procedures in an accurate and timely manner. Responsible for all EPL related record and data entry.
• Initiates the cleaning of bagging rooms and related equipment per Kerry Master Sanitation Schedules, SQF, Dryer and packaging cleaning check lists, and Regulatory requirements.
• Continuously works to maximize On Product hours and to minimize the off-Product hours. Within a reasonable period, must develop a level of competency that supports trouble shooting equipment problems, and maximize equipment performances. During breakdowns works directly with Maintenance personnel to fix equipment in a timely manner.

Qualifications and skills

This position requires a high school diploma, or GED.

• Experience: Previous Manufacturing a plus
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English at a level to facilitate the understanding of the terminology of the job.
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal procedures or instructions.
• Have basic math skills.
• Ability to work safely.
• Ability to operate forklift and pallet movers.
• Ability to lift 50lbs and the ability to kneel, bend over, squat, stoop, and carry.
