About the role

Summary:

Perform safe and efficient lift operations of product storage, receiving and loading of finished goods while maintaining clean, organized, and accurate inventories.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•Load outbound product, receiving product and/or supplies.

•Pick orders, replenish inventory, move finished product.

•Product rotation using FIFO.

•Operate a forklift, adhering to all safety policies and procedures while also maintaining a hazard free work area.

•Complete safety work orders when appropriate.

•Be able to participate in safety initiatives, committees and teams.

•Food safety and quality is Kerry’s priority so it’s important to adhere to all Food Safety/Quality SOP's while also accurately completing required Food Safety & Quality records.

•Responsible for forklift maintenance and inspection.

•Perform cycle counts.

•Clean damaged goods as well as repacking and removing damaged goods.

•Record keeping and understanding of SAP.

•Practice GMPS.

Key responsibilities

Qualifications and Skills:

•Basic computer experience.

•Organizational skills & excellent communication skills are essential.

•Ability to read, write and communicate in English at a level to facilitate the understanding of the terminology of the job.

•Ability to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal procedures or instructions.

•Ability to organize and plan ahead to maximize job efficiency and work safely.

•Ability to strive for excellence in all areas; focus on effective internal and external customer-supplier relationships.

 

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

•Previous work experience within a food manufacturing and distribution environment.

•SAP system knowledge
