Key responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Report any deficiency of ingredients or issues with the line.
2. As an operator you are responsible for the quality and safety of the product and for maintaining high efficiency for the line.
3. Accurately complete pre-op inspections, quality and safety check points.
4. Complete safety work orders when appropriate.
5. Be able to participate in safety initiatives, committees and teams.
6. Never take shortcuts or use the improper tools/equipment that could compromise the safety of themselves or others.
7. Food safety and quality is Kerry’s priority so it’s important to adhere to all Food Safety/Quality SOP's while also accurately completing required Food Safety & Quality records.
8. Operate a BB Line through the Buhler System and understand process flow.
9. As a mixer operator you are responsible for the quality and safety of the product and for maintaining high efficacy for the line.
10. Enter transactions into SAP accurately and timely.
11. Practice GMPS.

Qualifications and skills

    Experience:

1. Organizational skills & excellent communication skills are essential.
2. Ability to read, write and communicate in English at a level to facilitate the understanding of the terminology of the job.
3. Ability to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal procedures or instructions.
4. Ability to organize and plan ahead to maximize job efficiency and work safely.
5. Ability to strive for excellence in all areas; focus on effective internal and external customer-supplier relationships.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

1. Previous work experience within a food manufacturing and distribution environment.
2. Basic computer experience.
