In this role you will partner with key stakeholders across Operations, Quality, Safety, Engineering, Procurement, CI, Supply Chain, HR, PMO and commercial Finance to support the delivery of Taste & Nutrition business growth enablement agenda.  You will lead through direct and matrix relationships.  The successful candidate will be accountable for all aspects of operational and end to end finance supply chain performance and will ensure that strategic objectives are met in a timely & consistent manner.

 

We will rely on you to provide leadership and direction for all plant finance operations in a matrixed environment to achieve continuously improving financial results and employee engagement while ensuring no impact in the areas of safety, food quality, and service.

Key Measurement of Success:

  • Accountable for Financial KPIs, scorecard & Kerry Excellence within the Integrated Operations for the EUM
  • Accountable for ensuring robust financial KPI reviews are occurring at the EUM & plant level
  • Building a capable workforce, developing talent pipeline and succession plans.
  • Accountable to ensure compliance with corporate reporting & control requirements (timeliness, quality, standardization & compliance) both at plant & EUM level
  • Assistance with the delivery of people & food safety initiatives within the Integrated Operations for the EUM. Safety first Quality Always mindset.

 

Key Deliverables:

  • Work with VP Operations to develop strategies for setting stretching but achievable targets and monitor performance to target for each functional area:  Operations Engineering/Maintenance, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, Inventory Control, Safety.  Monitor and audit results against Target
  • Provide Leadership for a multi plant finance team.
  • Collaborate with commercial finance across the EUM’s personnel to ensure a well-informed & aligned finance team
  • Seek opportunities to optimize cost and demonstrates an understanding of all cost drivers and their impact
  • Ability to effectively communicate key cost drivers
  • Work closely with Human Resources on talent development and succession planning to ensure talent pipeline while fostering an environment of engagement and empowerment.
  • Works with R&D & Commercialization to ensure new product Viability from a financial perspective
  • Owns Acquisition integration process from a finance perspective to ensure compliance with all relevant financial requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or MBA in Finance related field
  • Track record of continuous professional development
  • 7+ years financial experience suggested in a complex multi-site manufacturing
  • Ability to work fast and effectively within a matrix environment.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to direct large complex initiatives across a broad network and ensure completion.
  • Proven ability to analyze and conclude; ability to apply Lean Methodologies across the finance function.
  • Ability to lead and drive change amongst peers and direct reports
  • Fluency in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus
  • Strong coaching expertise and knowledge of leadership development
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills with ability to convey results across a broad & multi-layered organization
