What you'll do:

The Materials / Supply Chain Manager provides guidance and support for purchasing, raw material inventory and production schedulers at the site to ensure customers receive full product orders on-time.  We will count on you to meet targeted KPI’s, drive optimized operation costs, and service the customer.   As the Materials / Supply Chain Manager, you will also:

  • Oversee the efficient operations and inventory of the site, outside storage facilities and yard, while continuously working to reduce working capital investment.
  • Maintain and audit system data, such as item balance records, forecast records, service level data base, open orders, bills of materials and item master.
  • Work with upper management and the Central Supply Chain team in Beloit, WI to develop and refine Supply Chain optimization strategies.
  • Coordinate transportation carriers and performance through the utilization of TMS and ensuring all scheduled shipping and receiving appointments are timely and in support of production and customer requirements.
  • Support the SQF Food Safety and Quality System by implementing and following procedures, taking part in GMP inspections, conducting and/or participating in internal audits and management reviews, and participating in training.
What you'll need:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or its equivalent in relevant area – Supply Chain, Operations Management, or Business.
  • 5 + years proven experience working in materials / supply chain; food and beverage industry experience preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, ERP Systems and related software and/or systems. SAP experience is preferred.
  • Proven work experience as a team supervisor / manager.  (Including writing performance reviews etc
  • Experience working in a custom high volume, (multiple sku’s) or highly complex supply chain matrix environment.
  • Strong understanding of the S&OP process.
