Key responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain accurate records: for example; BOL’s/Packing List and Truck/Trailer Inspection Forms.
  2. Assist with Bulk Flour Operators managing the Bulk Flour Operation.
  3. Spot Trailers for loading at Dock Doors.
  4. Food safety and quality is Kerry’s priority so it’s important to adhere to all Food Safety/Quality SOP's while also accurately completing required Food Safety & Quality records.
  5. Coordinate with other team members to achieve the highest efficiency and quality of finished goods while working safely.
  6. Practice GMPS.

Qualifications and skills

         Experience:

  1. Having a current CDL license.
  2. Organizational skills & excellent communication skills are essential.
  3. Ability to read, write and communicate in English at a level to facilitate the understanding of the terminology of the job.
  4. Ability to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal procedures or instructions.
  5. Ability to organize and plan ahead to maximize job efficiency and work safely.
  6. Ability to strive for excellence in all areas; focus on effective internal and external customer-supplier relationships.
  7. Ability to work well with others.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Previous work experience within a food manufacturing and distribution environment.
  2. Experience with Dry Goods Tankers, OTR Truck and Yard Truck equipped with PTO, and spotting Dock Doors is preferred.
  3. Basic computer experience.
