About the role

Where You'll Work 

Our Beloit, WI location is home to our Corporate Headquarters for the North American Region. This location has approximately 700 employees at this location that in roles such as regulatory, RD&A, finance, procurement, supply chain and customer care. We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Transport Planner to join our Transportation Team. 

What You'll Do 

Are you organized and a problem solver? As a Transportation Planner, you'll be working with a quality warehouse team, in a fast paced environment, planning the outbound logistics of customer orders. 

Key responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Tendering to carriers by using the TMS system - Transportation Management System (BluJay)
•    Reviewing the ERP system (SAP) for open sales orders and shipment creation
•    Order pick review, work assignment, and WMS corrections as needed. •    Review and understanding of shipping reports. 
•    Noting discrepancies or problems to management, QA or other warehouse personnel.
•    Gathering supportive paperwork to be shipped along with orders. (BOL’s, COA’s, ASN’s, etc.).
•    Responsible for monitoring warehouse KPI’s and Supply Chain Excellence goals for the facility as established by the Warehouse Manager
•    Participation in department, plant meetings, and functions pertinent to warehouse activities
 

Qualifications and skills

•  The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in warehousing, logistics and supply chain with increasing levels of responsibility in a manufacturing environment appropriate to food, beverage, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals or a closely aligned sector in North America.

•  Experience with SAP or similar ERP.

•  Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, SQL Queries, PowerBI & Excel.

•  General knowledge of factory and DC distribution networks.

•  Ability to conduct root cause analysis and sees connections between data and process.

•  Strong analytical skills; able to compile and analyze data.

•  Excellent data manipulation and interpretation skills for use in understanding trends, performance analyses, etc.

•  Prepare and conduct quality assurance reviews and process audits for compliance.

•  Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

•  Strong attention to detail

•  Demonstrates effective listening and questioning skills and is comfortable dealing with all levels in the organization, superior verbal, and written skills.

•  Detail oriented, thorough with documentation/communication

•  Ability to quickly adapt to changes in timelines and sequences, deal with ambiguity, and succeed in a high-pressure environment.
