About the role

The Transport Planner is responsible for planning and executing transportation operations in the region. This role involves coordinating with carriers and plants to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of raw materials, stock transfers between plants, and finished products to distribution centers and customers.

Key responsibilities

Collaborate with the Supply Planner and plants to schedule the timely delivery of finished products to customers.
Develop daily shipping plans for all necessary modes of transportation and communicate them to carriers and local plants.
Review exceptions in shipping plans and resolve or escalate them as needed.
Monitor the execution of shipping plans and respond to exceptions by collaborating with the Plant Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Planner, and Customer Care.
Support the resolution of freight invoice discrepancies by identifying relevant transactional data in the TMS and collaborating with the Freight Audit and Account Payable Analyst.
Optimize transportation planning for outbound, and inter-plant stock transfer shipping requests.

Qualifications and skills

2 years of experience.
English advanced.
Experience in TMS
