Description
Responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and executing high-impact visual designs across multiple platforms and mediums, from initial concept to final delivery. Consistently applies creative problem-solving, artistic vision, and technical proficiency to produce innovative designs that meet client objectives and elevate brand identity. Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure design integrity throughout project lifecycles. Provides mentorship and guidance to junior designers, while keeping internal stakeholders informed of project progress and design trends. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate fluently in English, as this role requires regular interaction with international team members and clients.
Key responsibilities
Create high-level conceptual designs and creative concepts for various projects
• Collaborate with marketing and other design team members to discuss and develop projects
• Interpret briefs and develop designs from concept to final graphics
• Ensure layouts are visually appealing, on-brand, and meet project objectives
• Utilize appropriate design software to create compelling visual solutions
• Consistently uphold and apply brand and style guidelines across all projects
• Provide guidance and constructive feedback to junior design team members
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines efficiently
Qualifications and skills
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field
• Minimum of 6 years of professional graphic design experience (agency experience is a plus) • Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects)
• Strong creative and layout skills, with expert knowledge in typography, image selection, and color theory
• Ability to create innovative and high-level conceptual designs
• Experience with various graphic outputs including print, digital, and environmental design
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, attention to detail, and proficiency in design software
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Workfront, Asana, Trello) is beneficial
