About the role

The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for managing the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. This role involves leading a team, handling escalations, and ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of onboarding professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful onboarding experiences.
  • Working knowledge of case management system (ServiceNow or similar) and all of the basic functionality it provides.
  • Attend to escalations and follow through until resolution is achieved. Have clear communication with all parties involved and be a mediator of the issues.
  • Handle escalations and resolve any issues that arise during the onboarding process, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Efficient reporting and analytical skills to work proactively to run reports to provide HR insights to the business and ensure data accuracy within our processes.
  • Continuously improve ways of working looking for opportunities to remove manual data input and/or extracts
  • Provide guidance & support provision of training to end-users and key stakeholders on HR data related policies and processes
  • Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) by monitoring and managing the onboarding process to meet established timelines and standards.
  • Lead and manage a team of onboarding professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful onboarding experiences.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to ensure they complete their assigned tasks and provide a welcoming onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Ensure data complies with legal standards and participate in data audits to support the business and ensure data accuracy.
  • Responsible for development and performance goals accomplishment within direct reports
  • Ensuring KPIs are met within all sides of the operation and team is compliant with business requirements in terms of employee experience, time to resolve, communication toward the functions and stakeholders.
  • Oversee and coordinate onboarding activities, including the preparation of materials, organization of welcome sessions, and management of necessary documentation.
  • Ensure that any issues arising during the onboarding process are promptly addressed by raising cases in the appropriate system.

Qualifications and skills

-High level of English language proficiency as this is Kerry's most widely spoken language.
-Able to select the most appropriate method of communication to any given situation and tailor approach accordingly to ensure the most receptive audience and the best likelihood of influence and success. -4+ years experience in HR- Onboarding, at least 1 Year leading people, Proven ability to lead high performing teams.
-Proven track record in delivering high quality, compliant Employee Services
-Deep knowledge of case management practices
-A passion and interest in emerging trends in HR and special focus in Onboarding process and how this can enhance business performance and customer experience, including opportunities for synergies across regions · Experience of working in a multi-national and multi-lingual environment, both locally and remotely serviced
