About the role

The marketing coordinator will directly develop, manage and guarantee execution of marketing strategies with a broad remit from marketing mix execution and SEUM strategic development, including market/consumer/end user research, brand positioning, marketing plans and its execution.

This role provides direction and business guidance to regional Kerry sales teams through the coordination and preparation of important customer engagements, trade exhibitions, marketing materials.

Key responsibilities

  • Network and collaborate across multiple Kerry functions to create and execute a marketing strategy for Kerry’s Meat End Use market.
  • In conjunction with Commercial teams and RD&A, design and execute a strong and relevant product portfolios and collections to improve hit rate and strengthen our pipeline.
  • Develop strong unique value propositions and insight messaging; build and present solid and persuasive presentations to customers and other stakeholders.
  • Development of long-term insight led Innovation platforms and pipelines. Management of market specific innovation / renovation for portfolio from concept to launch.
  • Develop comprehensive market intelligence, competitor, customer and consumer insight to drive business growth, in conjunction with RD&A, facilitating step change.
  • Lead the planning process for developing and execution activities.
  • Provide relevant consumer and market data, trends and insights that drive the formulation and execution of business marketing strategies.
  • Develop and execute marketing action plans for clients and channels, and strengthen Kerry´s positioning as The Taste & Nutrition Company.
  • Gather, analyze and translate consumer insights and VOC into actionable opportunities through Taste and Nutrition for relevant technologies/clients.
  • Work with strategic marketing and commercial sales team in the execution and measurement of marketing plans for global and regional accounts, technologies and end-use markets.
  • Establish and maintain a regional events calendar, including company and industry-related events and activities.
  • Manage creative development process by developing creative briefs, timelines and approving creative execution.
  • Support web/ digital marketing initiatives.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in marketing, business, food science, or related field.
  • Experience in marketing preferably in the meat industry or CPG companies.
  • Track record of leadership, mobilizing teams and driving ownership & execution.
  • Effective influencing and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and act tactically.
  • The ability to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes.
  • Strong conceptual / analytical / quantitative skill-set.
  • Proven resource optimization.
  • Comprehensive commercial and business acumen.
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written).
  • Business related travel required.
