What you'll do

Position Description: This level will provide direction and support for all plant operations to include S&R, Maintenance, and Quality when needed. The following is a list of expectations that will be required. This list is subject to change at any point to include further responsibilities.



  • Review the Production Schedule daily and check to verify that the latest revision of the schedule is being utilized and available to the production floor. This can be done by simply checking with the Material Scheduler.
  • Check with the Roasting, Extracting, and Blend/Filling areas to see where they are with meeting the required Production Schedule. This needs to be done at a minimum of once an hour. In some cases, this may need to be done more frequently if some issue has arisen.
  • Verify that all scheduled runs are entered in SAP. Be sure that all PO have been completed properly and reviewed off by the Leads who are required to review before supervisors.
  • Check SAP to be sure all scheduled runs have been reviewed, check for errors, make necessary corrections and sign off by TECO.
  • Complete production staffing schedule and post by Thursday @ 1pm of every week. Be sure to include vacation coverages when necessary. Please have any staffing revisions posted by Friday @ 1pm and personally notify individuals affected by the change.
  • Update Production Schedule Whiteboard daily.
  • Send out a Daily Shift Pass down. It is saved in the public folder under Daily Shift Review.
  • Setup and Monitor training of new employees and current employees in a new area.
  • Be sure all employees have completed all required Alchemy training this includes our monthly, quarterly, and annual safety and quality training. This will include any makeup sessions for absent employees.
  • Verify that regular audits of employees are being conducted in the roasting area by the Lead.
  • Conduct Daily Shift Huddle Meetings (The Focus) found in the public folder with all employees from all departments.
  • Complete an investigation for any nonconformances on the floor to include safety, quality, and production. When necessary complete a CAPA and/or an Incident form.
  • Verify all employees work schedules to compare actual hours worked versus hours scheduled to work twice a week.
  • Manage overtime of all employees to be sure no employee is working overtime without prior approval.
  • Keep up with all employee attendance records. Issue a corrective action form when it is required to do so.
  • Document leave earlies and absences daily in Kronos. Apply attendance policy rules accordingly.
  • Complete timecards of all employees by reviewing the hours worked and signing off on them weekly for payroll processing in Kronos.
