Where You'll Work:

At our Owen, WI facility we are part of the Dairy and Culinary division and we make Cheese powders, meal seasonings (mashed potato seasoning), dairy flavors and cheese sauce for our retail customers. This site participates in many local area charities and festivals throughout the year.  We are looking for someone to help us keep things running!

What You'll Do:

The Warehouse Manager is extremely important to us.  We will rely on you to manage the day-to-day operation of the warehouse.  As a team member your responsibilities will include inbound shipping of raw materials, outbound shipping and shuttles, scheduling and organizing orders.  Communicating with both Plant Supply Chain, Corporate Supply Chain, customers and carriers is a critical part of this role!

  • Oversees the efficient operations and inventory of the plant, outside storage facilities and yard.
  • Responsible for organizing the warehouse and the work flow.
  • Assist in timely processing of orders, accuracy of pick-ups, quantity of pick-ups per employee and providing resources for cycle counts.
  • Coordinate transportation carriers and ensure all scheduled shipping and receiving appointments are timely and in support of production and customer requirements.
  • Ensuring warehouse operations are appropriately staffed and employees are properly trained and certified to execute their duties.
  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.

Qualifications and skills

What You'll Need to be Successful:

 

  • High school Diploma required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Do you have experience in manufacturing?  We’d prefer you to have at least 5 years warehouse experience, food industry is a plus!
  • Knowledge of proper safety procedures, equipment maintenance, and warehouse best practices
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team
