What You'll Do:

 

The Industrial Sanitation Technician position is responsible for general janitorial tasks that are part of the Sanitation Program. This is general cleaning of common areas such as lunch room, rest rooms, offices and trash pickup and removal. Additional duties involve cleaning drains, working with production and maintenance team to ensure equipment is sanitized and meets food processing standards. This position reports to the Sanitation Supervisor. In the absence of the Industrial Sanitation employee, another Industrial Sanitation employee will serve as backup.  We offer multiple career paths, training in GMP, HACCP, food safety and food production related subjects.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

 

  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to train on use of high-reach lift truck for overhead cleaning.
  • Must be flexible/able to work any shift/weekends.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Ability to train on sit-down forklift, use of related tools & equipment.
  • Ability to train in the safety handling of chemicals such as caustics and acids.
  • Ability to safely learn to use a pressure washer.
