With over 45 plants across North America, the Owatonna, MN, USA plant is a part of our Beverage division that mass blends savory food ingredients. These dry blended ingredients improve taste and solubility in products like K-Cups, probiotics drinks, vinegar powders and blended rice’s which are packaged by our customers.  We are hiring career minded people to help meet growing demands for quality ingredients!  You'll have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with people who care about what we do! What You'll Do:

 

The Production Operators follow "recipes" to ensure the customers receive the ideal dry blended ingredients to meet their needs. This involves operation of a variety of production and processing equipment. Manufacturing products efficiently and within all customer specifications and quality standards. During a shift you may pull raw materials, measure, use lift trucks and/or cranes, monitor and document production results. Your attention to detail and maintaining safe processes will ensure that the best product is shipped daily. It is critical to success that all government regulations and Kerry processes and policies are met and or exceeded. The successful employees in this role become leaders for other employees and consistently communicate with the production team!

 

4 Day Work Week! Our 2nd Shift Works from 4:00 pm - 2:30 am, Mon.-Thurs.! Overtime is Available, Usually Not Mandatory

 

What You'll Need to Succeed:

 

  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • Basic math skills, ability to calculate percentages.
  • 1 yr. Manufacturing experience, preferably in a chemical or food processing facility.
  • Prior lift truck operation and safety certification preferred.
  • Use of MS products required, SAP software preferred.
  • Attend work as scheduled and availability to work overtime if needed.
